He was born on July 27, 1932 in Piedmont, son of the late Clyde Donald & Lora Belle (Brinkley) Anderson.
Don was a self employed fuel pump maintenance technician and a farmer. He worked and lived on the same farm in which his Grandfather homesteaded over 120 years ago. The cattle he raised had the original bloodline from his Grandfather's stock, and he had been presented with the University of Missouri Extension Century Farm Award.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from December 1952 to April 1953. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by one sister, Louisa L. Anderson of Piedmont, MO.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three infant brothers, William, Paul and Thomas Anderson.
