LLoyd Baxter, aged 65, died Wednesday in a Jacksonville hospital, where he had been a patient since the first of the year. He had been living south of Martinsville for some time. He had been in the teaching profession for many years and at one time taught in the Moriah school.

Survivors are the widow, Bertha; a son, Victor of Robinson; father, John, southeast of Casey; a brother, Oliver, of Rapid City, S. D.; and four sisters, Mrs. Grace Baker of Crown Point, Ind., Mrs. Sadie Cooley of Casey, Mrs. Olive Chapman of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Mildred Hartridge of Leadwood, Mo., and several grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Greenwell Funeral Home in Martinsville at 2 p. m. Saturday, with Rev. H. J. Kemp officiating. Burial will be in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
