Arthur was a Staff Sergeant in the US Army during World War II serving in the South Pacific. He was a truck driver and later ran the maintenance department for South Texas Milk Producers in Rusk, TX. He was a member of a CB Club and rescue volunteer. He was a loving son, husband and father and brother; avid deer hunter and loved to fish, a good friend.
