Zachariah Bone, aged 74 of Keyesport passed away at her home there November 18, 1932. Mr. Bone was born in Dallas, Georgia, June 10, 1858, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Bone. He came to Illinois with his parents when a boy and the family settled near Patoka.
For the past 14 years he had lived in Keyesport. Mr. Bone was married three times, his first wife being Miss Martha Ann Finley, who died 50 years ago. On child born to this union died in infancy. His second marriage was to Miss. Aurelia Clark and eight children were born to this union, three of whom survive, two boys and a girl died in infancy. Mrs. Bone died November 10, 1922. Surviving this union are three sons, Floyd Bone of Keyesport, William Bone of Tamalco and Ernest Bone of Pevely, Missouri and two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Utz and Miss Ruby Bone of Belleville. His third marriage was to Mrs. Ava Litzenburg, who survives. Mr. Bone was the last in his family.
