Birth: Mar. 1, 1950

Death: Nov. 10, 1978

Westchester County
New York, USA

Linda Scott was a country singer who recorded as "Charlee". "Charlee" recorded 2 album's, "Standing In Your Shoes" (1977) and "Midnight Madness" in 1979 (posthumous release). There were 3 singles released from the first album, "Standing In Your Shoes", "You Hum The Tune" and the most successful, "Keep Those Pillows Soft And Warm", selling 10,000 copies. On November 10, 1978, "Charlee" was found murdered in her home. Later on it was discovered that she was bludgeoned to death by her chauffer. Charlee's album is pretty good, check it out if you can find a copy. Charlee was 28 at the time of her murder. Not to be confused with the "pop" Linda Scott who had a 1962 hit called "I've Told Every Little Star", who is still living.
