He was born in Marion County, the son of Robert and Jennie (Roberts) Wilkinson. He married Elva Butts on June 24, 1940, and she survives at RR 1, Kinmundy.
Other survivors include two sons, Melvin Wilkinson of Kinmundy, and Marvin Wilkinson of Salem; a daughter, Ruby Ingram of Kinmundy; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was a farmer in the Kinmundy area and a member of the New Hope Christian Church in Xenia.
Funeral Services have been scheduled for tomorrow at 1 p.m. at the Linton Funeral Home in Kinmundy, with Brother Ward Fry officiating. Burial will be in the Phillips Cemetery near Kinmundy.
