Born February 8, 1925 in Glencoe, Wyoming to Hazel Madsen and William Cannon Piggott.
Married Everett Leland Gardiner, and had four wonderful children.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and served many callings in the church. Served a mission in the Genealogy Library. Her grandchildren were the love of her life.
Survived by children: Alice (Greg) Andersen, Salt Lake City, UT; Leland (Norma) Gardiner, Kearns, UT; Mary Gardiner, Kearns, UT; brother David Piggott; three grandchildren: Arthur, Everett, and Andrew. Preceded in death by husband; daughter, Rebecca Gardiner.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Viewings will be held on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 11:00-11:45 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West).
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
