Delos mustered in to Co. I, 27th NY Inf. at Angelica, NY on 13 May 1861, was promoted to full Sgt. on 21 Jul. Promoted to full 1st Sgt, 16 Apr 1863. Mustered out at Elmira 31 May 1863.
