died Friday [2-24] at his home in Clarion Cnty. He spent most of his life in the OilCity-Clarion area. He was a mem-ber of Foxburg Lutheran Church, Foxburg American Legion, Petersburg School Board for 34 years & a veteran of the 80th Div during WW1.
Surviving are his widow Edna; a dau: Mildred McCall; a sis: Myrtle Checkary-Meadville; 4 bros: Roscoe & Bert-Springboro; Jolley-Erie; Donald-TurkeyCity & 2 grandchildren.
Service was held Monday afternoon [2-27] at Foxburg Lutheran Church with military honors accompanying his interment at Foxburg Cem.
