Earle L. LeFort, 76, passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Theresa (Gosselin) Lefort of Woonsocket, who predeceased him. He is survived by his children, Douglas LeFort of Walton Beach, Fla., Dennis LeFort of Haiku, Hawaii, and Rebecca Blackburn of Elkridge, Md.; his grandchildren, Melissa, Carolee, Eric and Gabrielle; and three great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Katherine Louise and brother of the late Kenneth, Lawrence and Raymond LeFort, Virginia Griswold and Pauline Man. Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial service Saturday, May 15, at 10 a.m. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary), Whitman.
