Son of William S. and Rachel (Stockson) Siddens Sr. Joseph married first to Malinda Jane Marrs on April 15, 1841. They were the parents of nine known children. After Malinda's death, Joseph married Rebecca (nee Wilson), widow of Giles Parman, about 1878. Rebecca was the mother of twelve known Parman children.
U. S. General Land Office Records show Joseph Siddens purchased 40 acres in Twp 64-N Range 31-W in Section 26 of Gentry County, Missouri on November 2, 1854 at the Land Office in Plattsburg, MO.
