Eunice U. McCue, 80, of Bristol, WI, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2001 at Pebble Brook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lake Bluff.
Mrs. McCue was born on July 8, 1920 in Gas City, IN, the daughter of Edward and Ora (nee: Day) Koskoba. On June 6, 1944 she married Francis McCue. He died on August 19, 1984. A graduate of Ravenswood School of Nursing in Chicago, she worked as the Director of Central Service at Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan for 20 years. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Grayslake and an avid supporter and volunteer for the American Cancer Society. She was also a member of A.A.R.P. and she enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Mrs. McCue leaves two sons, Philip (Marilyn) McCue of Park City, IL, Thomas (Jean) McCue of Round Lake; two daughters, Kathleen Mahoney of Round Lake Beach, Judith (William) Edgcomb of Antioch; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Kent; one sister, Marjorie Braun and one granddaughter, April Janssen.
Memorial Service: 10AM-Tuesday, January 30, 2001 at the Chain of Lakes Community Bible Church, 23201 W. Grass Lake Road, Antioch, IL with the Rev. Kerry Bauman officiating. Interment: private. Visitation: 5-9PM, Monday, January 28, 2001 at the STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, LTD., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030.
