Services for Floyd Cooper Adams, 75, Cadiz, were today at Goodwin Funeral Home with John W. Dale and the Rev. Wesley Hibbs officiating and burial in Robertson Cemetery, Trigg County.
She died at 10:30 am Saturday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Trigg County, she was born April 10, 1910, the daughter of the late John and Etta Gamlin Cooper. She was a member of Donaldson Creek Baptist Church.
Her husband, John Wesley Adams, died in 1983 and an infant son, Joe Hoy Adams, died in 1932.
Survivors include a son, Menon W. Adams, Danville, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Clifton (Mary Lou) Hutson, Murray; two brothers, Loyd and Bailey Cooper, both of Hopkinsville; two sisters, Lee Shelton, Hopkinsville and Mrs. Faye Calhoun, Trigg County; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
