Charles O. Robbins, 75, retired farmer, of 229 North View Avenue, Ottumwa, died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday at the Ottumwa hospital, where he had been a patient since October 14.

He was born October 8, 1878, near Fremont, the son of Enoch and Mary Robbins. On July 22, 1903, he was married to Ethel Roquet. They lived near Rose Hill and in Butler County about 20 years then moved to Martinsburg, where they lived until moving to Ottumwa a year ago.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. S. R. Sauer of Fremont and Mrs. Everette Jones of Seattle; two grandchildren; three brothers, Alva of Florin, California, Elmer of Torrington, Wyo., and Bert of Gibson; and two sisters, Mrs. Lulu Lock and Mrs. Hazel Wolfe of Oskaloosa. He was preceded in death by an infant son, a sister and two brothers.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fremont Church, in charge of the Rev. Wilson Hyde of the Wesley Methodist church in Ottumwa, assisted by the Rev. R. Underwood, Fremont Methodist pastor. Burial will be in Cedar township cemetery. The body is at the Fremont funeral chapel.
