Paul was the fifth child of Joseph Nicholas Bennett and Rose Frances Liberatore. He was in the U.S. Marine Corps on the USS Curtiss. He married Roccina Yolanda Martino on July 19, 1952. Their son, Paul Patrick Bennett, was born on March 18, 1953. Paul and Rocky moved to Maryland in the late 50s. Paul retired from the American Automobile Association. He also was a bartender for a country club. He was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2562 and American Legion Post 268.
