FORMER RESIDENT BURIED HERE SATURDAY NIGHT
The body of Alfred Abshear, fifty years of age,
who died in Nacogdoches Saturday morning
about 8:30 was brought to Lampasas and
interred in the Oak Hill cemetery Saturday
night about 9:00 o'clock. Rev. A. F. Avant
conducted the funeral service.
Mr. Abshear lived here for a time, leaving
here about thirty years ago. His first wife
died while he lived here and was buried in
Oak Hill. He is survived by his second wife,
a daughter, Miss Evelyn Abshear of Nacogdoches,
a brother, Charlie Abshear of Austin, and two
sisters.
