Albert E. Anderson, 76, of Hibbing, died Monday, March 25, 2002 at Leisure Hills of Hibbing. He was born Aug. 9, 1925 to Axel and Esther (Jacobson) Anderson in Alango.

He grew up and attended school in Cook. He was a World War II veteran serving with the U.S. Navy Seabees. He worked as a logger for the Maturi Logging Company.

He is survived by his sisters: Louise (Peter) Roketa and Lillian Anthony; special friend, Agnes Setter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
