Everett "Dale" Okelberry, Payson, Utah, 84, passed away of natural causes on Sunday, April 23, 2006, in Payson, Utah.

Dale was born July 16, 1921, in Goshen, Utah, to Everett and Winona Okelberry. He was raised in Goshen, Utah, where he and his family had a farming and livestock operation, sheep and cattle. Dale served in the Navy in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He also worked at the Dugway Proving Grounds for many years. He moved to Payson in his retirement years, and thoroughly enjoyed working in his yard and vegetable garden. He was well-liked by everyone who knew him and made the best sourdough biscuits; and, could recite many humorous limericks.

Dale is survived by three children: Dale "Clair" (Carol) Okelberry, Lincoln, Nebraska; Michael J. (Jyll) Okelberry, Goshen, Utah; Susan Egan, Spanish Fork, Utah; ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sisters: Kathryn Salisbury, of Riverside, California; and Mable Morgan, of Roseville, California.
