New York, USA
Death: Aug. 19, 2006

Ray was cremated and his ashes placed at this site.
Though Ray was born in New York and died in Houston, he was no world traveler. His father James Willie Lemons was in the army, his family was with him only until 1966. That is when a divorce settled Ray and his siblings in Mississippi, with their mother and step father.
Ray was know well in Northeast Mississippi as one of its finest cabinet makers. From Piano cabinets to kitchen cabinets, Ray was able to make any wood take on the best glimmer possible. Unfortunately, many mistakes and misfortunes in life, lead him down a road which eventually caused his death.
Ray was preceded in death by his father, his mother Faye Lemons Collins, and all of his grandparents. He was survived by 4 sisters and 3 brothers, 1 half sister and 2 half brothers.
He was proud of his family names, both his mother's, Goolsby and father's, Lemons.

Still think about you, in my mind I know you are looking down on me, I know I did wrong but I was confused, I will always love you.

Those we love don't go away...They walk beside us every day...Unseen, unheard, but always near...Still loved, still missed and very dear. In Your Memory ~ Rest in Eternal Peace
