Son of Joseph Denison and Prudence Minor, grandson of George Denison and Mercy Gorham, Joseph Minor and Mary Avery. Great grandson of pilgrims Captain George Denison and Ann Borodell from Bishop's Stortford, England, Thomas Minor & Grace Palmer from Chew Magna, England.
He was the husband of Ann Cary, the daughter of Eleazar Carey and Lydia Throope, great granddaughter of pilgrims John Cary and Elizabeth Godfrey, Deacon William Throope all from England. they were married 01 Apr 1736 in Windham, CT and had the following children:
