William Shewen Slaughter, M.D., practiced general surgery in the Baton Rouge area since 1936. He was a graduate of Tulane Medical School and was a member and deacon of First Presbyterian Church. He was former chief-of-surgery at Baton Rouge General Medical Center and former Chief-of-staff at Our Lady of the lake Regional Medical Center.
