RALPH AVERY DIES AT HOME
Was St. Paul School Custodian for Many Years; Funeral Friday

Ralph W. Avery, 54 years old, life-long resident of St. Paul and custodian of the St. Paul school for many years, died at 11:50 o'clock Tuesday night at his home in that community, after two weeks illness with pneumonia.

Mr. Avery was regarded as unusually efficient in his work at the school.

He leaves a widow; three sons, Edgar, Ralph and Franklin, and one grandson, all at home; five brothers, Edgar, Albert and Clifford, of St. Paul; Isaac, of Anderson, and John Avery, of Tottenville, New York.

Mr. Avery was a devoted member of the St. Paul Christian church.

The funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in that church and will be conducted by the Rev. Paul Million of Shelbyville.

Burial will be in the Paul Hill cemetery, in charge of C. L. Wilson.
