TOGETHER AGAIN" ALICE D. BRADY

Alice Daz Brady, 79, passed away Monday, April 26, 2010 at her home in Ogden.

She was born Aug. 21, 1930, in Tacoma, Washington, a daughter of Cesere A. Daz and Alma Beryl Cornell.

She married Kenneth L. Brady on Dec. 23, 1948, in Salt Lake City.

The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on July 23, 1951.

He preceded her in death on July 6, 2007.

She graduated with a degree in Nursing from Utah State Technical College.

She attended Weber State University and graduated from the LDS Institute.

She was employed at McKay-Dee Hospital where she retired after 24 years of service.

Mom was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Ogden 13th Ward and then the Liberty Park Ward.

She served as a Primary teacher, Cub Scout leader, and in the Relief Society as a visiting teacher and as compassionate leader.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She enjoyed flowers, toy bears and bear hugs.

Surviving are two sons and three daughters; Michael L. (Linda) Brady, Clinton; Joseph L. (Annette) Brady, Syracuse; Diana (Greg C.) Thompson, Washington Terrace; Carol (Gordon) Pitt, South Ogden; Patricia (Kenneth) Taylor, Syracuse. 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters; Tina Gerlack and Mary Johnson, Tacoma, WA.; one sister-in-law Connie Cross, El Paso, TX.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryl L. Brady, her parents and two brothers.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Liberty Park Ward, 1051 21st St. Ogden.

Friends may call at the Larkin & Sons Mortuary, 496 24th St., Ogden, Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the ward from 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
