Vera is wife of William Edward Fields and mother of Patsy Jean (Fields) Phillips, both of which are also buried in Rendon Cemetery. William died in 1960. She later married Thomas Edward Phillips who died in 1983 and then John D. Fitzgerald, Sr.

FORT WORTH - Vera Grace Fitzgerald, 82, a homemaker, died Saturday at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Burial: Rendon Cemetery in Rendon. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Vera Fitzgerald was born June 18, 1914, in Kennedale.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patsy Phillips of Burleson.
Survivors: Two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Martha Fields of Forest Hill, George and Kim Fields of Washington State; brother, Darwin Garrett of Everman; two sisters, Gladys Curry of Alvarado, Inda Casey of Fort Worth; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth 7100 Crowley Road.
