John Albert Beck Of 517 3rd Ave., died at 4.15 p.m. yesterday after an extended illness.
He was born March 7, 1878, in Antis Township, a son of Blooming M. and Anna M. (Wilt) Beck.
Mr. Beck was of the E.U.B. faith and was a retired car inspector for the Pennsylvania Railroad.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mary McDowell, Mrs. Alice Smiley and Miss Pearl Beck of Altoona, and two brothers, William B. and Jeremiah of Greenwood.
Friends will be received at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata, after 7 p.m. today.
