Son of Harry Rector and Blanch Nichols. Buck was a very accomplished athlete during high school in Wilder Idaho until an injury put him on the side lines. He married LaVon Christophersen-Dec 1943. He became a baker and opened his own bakery in Nampa,Idaho. Then worked over 30 years for Albertson Food Centers, as a baker and Bakery Supervisor until he retired. . They had 3 children:Steven, Cindy and Richard.
