Inscription: "Elizabeth Renfro / July 12, 1823 / Sept 15, 1905". There has been some substance, perhaps white paint, applied to the front of this stone, making it harder to read. Pink chalk helps some. The year of birth is definitely 1823. A dark place that makes it look like 1829 is not engraved like the rest of the number, but simply a dark place on the stone. The number 15 in her death date is less certain but still almost certainly not 16 or 18.
Epitaph: "In God we trust".

Left to right: Ibey Renfro; W. M. Renfro; Elizabeth Renfro. "Ibey" is short for Isabel/Isabelle; William was known as "Billy"; and Elizabeth was called "Betsy", according to family tradition.
