JAMES HERN BAGWELL

James Hern Bagwell, 68, of Gillham, died in a local hospital September 16 at 5:45 A.M. after a ten-day illness. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 P.M. at Wilkerson Chapel with the Rev. Herbert V. Wilson officiating. Interment was in Gillham cemetery.

He was born February 5, 1876 in Cooper county, Missouri, and was a member of the Christian church.

He is survived by his wife; four sons, Harold, Norman, and Jimmy of Gillham, and Herbert of the U.S. Army, Dodge City, Kansas; two daughters, Clarene and Peggy of Gillham.
