Mary Singleton McEachren, passed away on 21 April 2002.

Mrs. McEachren (neé Singleton) was born in Provo in 1909, the sixth and youngest child of the Late Albert and Mary E. Clark Singleton.

She is a direct descendent of Joseph Clark, Sr. and Sarah Topham Clark, who married in Provo on October 17, 1849.

She graduated from Provo High School in 1927, earned an RN degree from California Lutheran Hospital, School of Nursing, Los Angeles, California in 1930, married the late John H. McEachren (U.S. Navy Capt., dec.) in 1931.

Devoted mother of MaryAnn McEachren Spraic (Mrs. Mark A. Spraic), grandmother of Aidan Hunter and Alexis Manya Spraic, loving aunt to Nancy Ann McDowell, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Singleton, and Mr. and Mrs. William Wightman and their families.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 3, 2002, 11 a.m. at Berg Mortuary, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah.

Friends may call at the Mortuary on Friday one hour prior to services.

Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery.

Friends are asked to send to Berg Mortuary, P.O. Box 1468, Provo, UT 84603 a single sheet with a written or other memory of Mrs. McEachren or a copy of a photograph for a family memory book.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fashion Institute for Design and Manufacturing ("FIDM") Scholarship Foundation, 919 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90015 to build a memorial scholarship in Mrs. McEachren's name for young fashion designers.
