She was born May 16, 1927, the daughter of Otis and Eleanor Allgood Green. She married Gerald E. Reynolds Nov. 18, 1950, and he preceded her in death Nov. 17, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Eleanor "Sunny" Green, and her daughter Kathy's partner, Dick Paull.
Surviving are her three children, Kathy Reynolds of Glendale, AZ, Jerry A. (wife, Char) Reynolds, and Chuck (wife, Janet) Reynolds, both of Springfield. There are seven grandchildren, Danielle (husband, Aaron) Hanselman, James Reynolds, Sara Reynolds, Emily (husband, Joe) Roberts, all of Springfield, Sophie Reynolds of Mankato, MN, and twins, Margaret and Lucy Reynolds of Springfield; also six great-grandchildren; her sister, Lois (husband, Leo) Beals of Grants Pass, OR. There are several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch & Son Funeral Home, where visitation will be on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, from 4-7 p.m. and where funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Christopher House officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded by the Bisch Crematory following the service. Private inurnment will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those that wish may direct memorial contributions to the Telephone Pioneers "All God's Children Shall Have Shoes" program, or a charity of your choice.
