I'M FREE

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free-
I'm following the path God laid for me.
If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy!
My life's been full, I savored much, good friends, good times,
A loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, don't lengthen it with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me
God wanted me now, he set me FREE!

Angie was born in Dallas, Texas in 1957. She moved to Indiana in 2008, and shortly thereafter discovered she had cancer. She didn't survive through the chemo treatments.
Angie is survived by her mother,N.J."Joanna" Patterson, a sister, DeDe, of Emory, Texas, brothers, Ray Patterson and wife, Cherry of Salt Lake City, and Casey Patterson and wife, Sonny of Plano, Texas, and one nephew, Cole Patterson.

Angie believed:
"We all have a pre-determined amount of time on earth; a birth date - a death date, and no more. God gives us our lifetime to find Him, and He will judge each person based on whether or not they've rejected His Son, Jesus Christ. That is THE most important purpose of any person's life. All that we are in this life, all that we have said and done, all that we work, worry and strive for are only 2-3 generations away from being completely forgotten. Our Legacy is not just to be able to leave our family memorials and stories here for others to discover, but most importantly to point them to the Savior, Jesus Christ. As you read these memorials keep in mind that you are still living in the hyphen between birth and death, and you still have the opportunity to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as your Savior. Accept Him and the sacrifice he made for your sin which gives you eternal life."
