Minnie Gertrude Sheetz Huff, 75, passed away Wednesday at a local Nursing Home, where she had entered July 28, 1953. She had been ill for a period of six years.

She was born March 15, 1880 in Bedford, to Newton and Sarah Woodruff Bridges. She was married twice; first to Charles Sheetz who died several years ago and second to Everett Huff, who has also preceded her in death.

Survivors include on daughter, Mrs. Will Van Hoy of Bloomington; three sons, Chester Sheetz of Elnora, Indiana; Lester Sheetz of Loogootee, and William Sheetz of Bedford; 22 grandchildren, including Mrs. Doris Skeen, whom she reared; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, William Bridges of Jasonville and Carl Bridges of Bedford; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Keach of Flint, Michigan and Mrs. Edith Hadley of Beech Grove, Indiana. Six children have preceded her in death.
