Wife of John Burt, Married Oct. 18, 1927.Daughter of John Ashworth(Pappa) and Mary Jane Ashworth(Momma). Mother of Mary Mc Farland.
At the time, she lived in Richmond and went to work at the Kaiser Shipyards. They trained her to weld large steel plates together. These plates became part of the 700 or so Victory Ships that were made in the Kaiser Richmond Shipyards.She was a "Rosey the Riveter" during the war.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren, sewing, and baking for her family. Her grandchildren: Dana, David, Debi, and Donna. Great-grandchildren: Matthew, Michael, Brendan, Jason, Timothy, Lisa and Mallory. Her great great grandchildren whom she never met here on this mortal Earth although I believe she spoke with them before they traveled down to us: Heather Michelle B-10-05-2005, and Alexander James B- 7-31-06, Morgan McKenzie B-3-8-07,Kaitlyn Rose B-3-29-08, Taylor Lynn B-02-18-09,Wyatt Colt B-07-08-2010, Madison Grace B-04-20-2011, Brooke Lorraine7-9-2012 and Skylar Jayde 12-18-2013.

She is at peace now and with her Lord. She died of old age on her daughter's Birthday (who preceeded her in death, my mom).
Sister of: Elmer Eland MaGee (half brother),William Monroe,Minnie Ethel,Fred,Johnnie,Effie Lucille,Magalene, and Clara L.
Home in 1910: Justice Precinct 6, Kaufman,Texas.
