Services for Nancy Ward Allen were Friday afternoon at the Nebo Methodist Church with the Rev. Edwin Dyer officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Pafford Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Allen, who was 84, died Wednesday at her home in Lexington after an illness of several years. She was a lifelong resident of Henderson County and a Baptist.
She leaves three sons, Walter Allen of Lexington, Floyd Allen of Biloxi, Miss., and Clarence Allen of Huron; two daughters, Mrs. Hautie McDaniel of Lexington and Mrs. Lucille Hubbard of Luray; and a brother, Ben Ward, of Bemis.
