Mrs. Allen, who was 84, died Wednesday at her home in Lexington after an illness of several years. She was a lifelong resident of Henderson County and a Baptist.
She leaves three sons, Walter Allen of Lexington, Floyd Allen of Biloxi, Miss., and Clarence Allen of Huron; two daughters, Mrs. Hautie McDaniel of Lexington and Mrs. Lucille Hubbard of Luray; and a brother, Ben Ward, of Bemis.
