Gail Cain, 60, of Brookston, died at 9:20 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2010, after a five-month battle with cancer.

She was born Sept. 9, 1949 in Yuma, Arizona to Gean Cypert Grissom and the late Virgil Grissom. She married Joe Cain on April 4, 1970 in Yuma. He survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Jennifer (Tod) Langley, Tessa (Mike) Strong and Stacy (Josh) Poca; a son, Andrew (Sara) Cain; three sisters, Linda (Gordon) Bauch, Shirley (Don) Jordan and Connie (Max) Nelson; a brother, Martin (Shelly) Grissom and grandchildren, Allison, Victoria, Eric, Bella, Eleanore, Ayla and Anna.
