Son of Peter and Ida Strand Johnson. He was the brother of Griffin, Amanda, Esther,and Agnes Maria, who is buried at Evergreen in Menomonie. Griffin, Esther, Peter amd Ida are also buried at Highland.

Menomonie---Elvin M. Johnson, 84, 407 12th Ave. West died Friday at Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Menomonie and was a World War I veteran. He was employed as a brakeman and conductor for the Chicago and North Western Railroad for more than 40 years, retiring in 1964.
Survivors include two sisters, Esther Roe, Glenwood City, and Agnes Mowers, Menomonie.
Services will be at 2p.m. at Olson Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Cemetery, both in Menomonie.
Friends may call from 7 to 9p.m. Sunday and an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.
