Son of Sir Knight William Talboys who was beheaded, and his wife Elizabeth (Bonville) Talboys. Between 1472-1476 he was Lord of Kyme, member of Parliment and Sheriff of Lincolnshire. The attainder of his father was reversed in 1472. Sometime after 1472 his brother-in-law Roger Heron gave him the Manor of Croydon, County Cambridge. He was buried in Kyme Priory, Lincolnshire, ENG.∼Married Eliz Heron dau of Sir John Heron. Father of Sir George Tailboys. Robert, 8th Lord Kyme, was the son of Walter, 7th Lord Kyme,(d.26 May 1464) and Elizabeth Bonville (d. 14 Feb 1491), the daughter of William, 1st Lord Bonville and Margaret de Grey.
