CHARLES O. BROWN, Son of John and Barbara Brown, born May 16, 1891, Jasper County, Indiana. Moved to White County in 1899. Occupation: Farmer. Entered military service in September of 1917 at LaFayette, Indiana.
Sent to Camp Taylor, Kentucky, and was assigned to 25th Company Company, 159th Depot Brigade. Transferred to Camp Shelby, Mississippi. Assigned to Company B, 151st Infantry.
Died December 13, 1917, at Camp Shelby. Aged 26 years, 6 months, and 29 days. Time in service: 3 months.
Buried at Crockett Cemetery, Rensselaer, Indiana.
