OBITUARY 1: Fort Wayne News-Sentinel (26 October 1982)
Harold C. Kiel, 74, of Fort Wayne, who was an inspector at General Electric Co. before retiring in 1970, died Sunday in his residence.
Born in Kendallville, he lived in Fort Wayne most of his life and was a member of the G.E. Quarter Centruy Club.
Surviving are a son, John of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Arlene Kinder of Auburn, Rosemary Battershell of Fort Wayne, and Nancy Norfleet of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and a sister, Loretta Sunderland, Fort Wayne.
Calling at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home will be 2 tp 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Services are Wednesday, time to be announced, with burial in Catholic Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to Switchboard, or to the South Park Learning Center Special Olympics Fund.

Harold C. Kiel, 74, died at his home. He was an inspector for General Electric before retiring in 1970.
