Martha Jane Dambach of Vienna, was born on January 21, 1918, at Hayden, daughter of Perry E. and Pearl Roberson Martin, and departed this life at 5:21 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 1994 in Memorial Community Hospital, Jefferson City. Mrs. Dambach had been in failing helath for the past several years and had attained the age of 76 years, three months and eight days. She was united in marriage on December 4, 1937 at Rolla, to John Loyd Dambach and to this union two daughters were born. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 7, 1971, her father on June 19, 1982, her mother on January 3, 1946, and two brothers: James Elmer Martin on February 11, 1963, and Adrian Cooledge Martin on January 9, 1926. Mrs. Dambach accepted Jesus Christ as her Personal Savious and followed her Lord in Baptism in 1938, and at the time of her passing was a member of the First Baptist Church, Vienna. She was employed by Langenburg Hat Company, Vienna from 1954 until 1976 as well as being a devoted housewife and homemaker for all her working life and was always diligent in providing for the needs of her family. Those left to mourn her passing include two daughters, and sons-in-law: Mary Nadine and Bob Schmiedeskamp, Rolla, Joyce Ann and Thomas Bell, New Bloomfield; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rockford and Kathryn Martin, Shelby, IA; and Donley and Virginia Martin Dixon; two sisters, Mrs. Winifred Terry, Vienna, and Mrs. Isola Jordan, Jefferson City; three grandchildren, Connie Dean Schmiedeskamp, Rolla, Amber Leann Bell, New Bloomfield, and Dustin Thomas Bell, New Bloomfield; and a host of other relatives and friends. After resting in the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes, funeral services were conducted at 2 PM on Monday afternoon, May 2, 1994 in the First Baptist Church, Vienna with Rev Robert D. Hodson, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Ida Bell Brandt sang. Interment was in the Kenner Cemetery, Dixon. Serving as active pallbearers were Bryan Steinman, Steve Rains, Harold and Harlan Schmiedeskamp, Bob Bullock, and Charles Dotson. Honorary pall-bearers were Allen Bray, Ralph Wiles, Corey Steinman, Lester Dambach, Earl Farris and Dustin Steinman.
