"CENTRALIA -- Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon for Mrs. Nettie Adams, 84, widow of the late Cance W. Adams, a former Centralian, who died Saturday afternoon in Denver, Colo. Mrs. Adams had been in ill health the past year. The Rev. David T. Morrison, pastor of the Allen Street Methodist Church, will officiate.

The Adams family had resided in Centralia for many years, where Mr. Adams operated a dry goods and ready-to-wear store. Mr. Adams; one daughter, Mrs. Roy Anthony; and a son, Dayton, died a number of years ago.

She is survived by one son, Charlie Adams; four grandchildren, Mrs. Martha Joy Charles, Mrs. Mary Jane Smith, James C. Adams and William Dayton Adams; one brother, Ed Goodale of St Louis; and three great-grandchildren, all of Denver.

Her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Dayton Adams, and Mrs. Margaret Charles will accompany the body to Centralia." Moberly Monitor-Index (Moberly, Missouri), December 27, 1945
