DAVIS WOMAN DIES FRIDAY
Funeral services were held July 8 for Mrs. Caroline Vee Stribling, 52, of Davis at Sandy Indian Baptist church. Rev. Virgil Holcomb of Oklahoma City officiated at the services.
Mrs. Stribling died July 5 at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital after an illness of eight months. Interment was in Sandy Baptist church cemetery with Bahner Funeral home having charge of arrangements.
She was a housewwife, a member of Sandy Indian Baptist Church, and a worker in W.M.U.
Born July 8, 1910, in Murray County, she spent the early part of her life in Murray county. She had been a resident of the county all her life with the expection of a few years she spent in Oklahoma City.
The late James Alexander, Baptist missionary for the Chickasaw Association was the father of the deceased.
Survivors are her husband Thomas Stribling of the home; one son, Harold Stribling of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Looney and Mrs. Irene Digby both of Davis and Mrs. Lorene Greenwood of Fittstown.
