I knew R.D. Copeland. He lived in Pleasanton, Texas and worked for Missouri Pacific railroad for many years. I worked with him for 5 or 6 years as I was the conductor while he was the engineer. He retired in the late 1960's. I believe he died in the 1970's. He was a big member of the First Baptist church and Masonic Lodge. They raised their granddaughter, Cathy Copeland, who married Bill Monk, also from Pleasanton.
