MEMPHIS - funeral services for Edward Levi Cline, 79, a Memphis resident for two years and former Hedley resident, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Travis Baptist Church here.

The Rev. C.H. Murphy, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Rowe Cemetery at Hedley.

Mr. Cline, a retired farmer, died Monday morning at Hall County Hospital.

Born in Decator, he came to Memphis from Hedley, where he had lived since moving from Dallas in 1938. He was a member of Travis Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, the former Jennie Lelia Loolils [sic]; two daughters, Mrs. Viola Roberts of Memphis and Mrs. Emma Lou Brambler of 203 S. Tennessee in Amarillo; two sons, Joseph of Kilgore and William of Nacogdoches; a brother, Vernon of Wellington; a sister, Mrs. Laura Anthony of 2917 S. Fairfield in Amarillo; 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
