Funeral Held for Mrs. Martha Bales

Funeral services for Mrs. Jackoline [sic] Bales, 75 years old, were conducted this afternoon at McKnight. Burial was in the Hedley Cemetery with arrangements in charge of Womack Funeral Homes.

Mrs. Bales died early Tuesday morning in a hospital in Memphis.

Survivors include six sons, Ben Bales of Hedley, Andrew Bales of Memphis, Will Bales of Delta, Colo., Dee Bales of Umbarger, Mark Bales of Bakersfield, Calif., Marvin Bales of Albuqerque [sic], N.M.; two daughters, Mrs. Etta Crisler of Pampa, Mrs. Ruby Merriman of Borger, and a number of grandchildren.
