Ruth B Springfield, Daugher of Naomi Patten and Sam W. Springfield. I follow Ruth threw out census records she is in the 1930 census and is single. She must have helped raise her sisters daugh.I believe she is buried in the Lafayette Tippecanoe area. The census records bounce back and forth for her birth date.

Miss Ruth B Springfield, 70,of 1121 North Thirteenth street,died at 1 o'clock Fri. afternoon at the home hospital . Miss Springfield was born at Liberty, Ohio and was never married. At the age of 8 she came here with her
family from Dayton,Ohio, and had lived in the late residence for the past 51 years. She was a member of the Baptist church,Lafayette Union W.T.C.U., the Star City Rebekah lodge No.292 and was a past Noble Grand and has recieved the lodges Order of Chivalry. She attended the oldCentralschool, now Centennial , the old Jenks, now WashingtonLinwood , and the Lafayette High school.
The body was removed to the Bradshaw Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Miss Ruth B. Springfield will be held at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon from Bradshaw funeral Home. Rev George A Ritchey officiating; interment in the family lot, Spring Vale Cemetery. The Lafayette Union W.C.T.U. will hold services at the same time, while the Rebekeha lodge will hold rites Sunday eve. at 7 o'clock at the funeral home,where friends may call Sun. afternoon.
