Mrs. Dodson was born July 23, 1921 in Snyder, Texas to Jim and Myrtis Daniels. She was one of sixteen children. She was a lifelong resident of Mitchell and surrounding counties, a member of the First Baptist Church in Westbrook, the Golden Age Club and the Joy Sunday School Class.
She is survived by Earl "Dutch" Doss; two daughters, Winnie Putman and Rogena Cox both of Colorado City; one brother, Robert Jay Daniels of Arlington; twelve grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, J. D. Dodson, one son, Wendell Dodson, one grandchild, one great-grandchild and fourteen brothers and sisters.
