Services for Ruby Andrews Graham Pitcock, 88, of Austin were held at First United Methodist Church at Graham. Born in the Shearer community, in Young County, she attended schools in Shearer and Graham and Texas Woman's University. She moved to Austin from Graham in 1980. During her life, she was active in her church, civic, cultural, and business endeavors in Olney, Graham, and across Texas. She was devoted and loyal to her family. She loved music, and gardening and was most happy when she could spend time at her ranch. She was a retired rancher and oil producer. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Graham, Modern Martha Sunday School Class, Graham C.L.S.C., Graham Organ Guild, Graham Woman's Club, and United Methodist Women. She was a longtime member of the Texas Southwestern Cattle Raiser's Association and North Texas Oil and Gas Association. Mrs. Pitcock was engaged in ranching activities in Archer and Young Counties and in Dripping Springs with her daughter and son-in-law, Texas Chief Justice John Hill.
Survived by one daughter; three step-sons; one sister - Vada Andrews Key; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
