Funeral for C.G. Woolfolk, 84, who had lived in Young County for the past 75 years and was a retired farmer and rancher. He was nine years old when the family moved to Graham. He moved to Newcastle from Graham in 1910. As they grew older, Mr. and Mrs. Woolfolk moved to Houston to be near a son, but after two years, returned to the old home near Newcastle which was part of his father's estate.
Survivors: his wife; three sons: M.L. Woolfolk of Graham, Sterling Woolfolk of Dallas, C.F. Woolfolk of Houston; three daughters: Mrs. Tom King of Dallas, Mrs. Edgar Kemp of Plainview, Mrs. Howard Browning of Aiblene; three brothers: Jack Woolfolk of Albany, Archie and Virgil Woolfolk of Newcastle; sister: Mrs. Mollie Johnson of Newcastle; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
