Mary Louise Ard [1918-1985] was his daughter, and his son, Ben N Ard Jr [1922-1998], attended college in California after his father and mother died and got a PhD in Psychology. It appears that Myrtle Mae Hall Ard may have lived in California also and died there. Dr Ard Jr is author of several books relating to his specialty. Shortly after graduation from Baylor University Medical College, Dr Ard went to France with the AEF where he was a 1st Lieutenant in the Medical Corps. He was a member of the American Medical Association.
Survivors include his wife, daughter Mary Louise Ard, son: Ben Ard Jr, sister: Mrs M Randolph. Services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday at the Chapel of Lamar and Smith. Burial will be at Pickton, Hopkins Co, his birthplace at 2 PM.
