Dr Ben N Ard , 52, native Texan, and a physician in Oak Cliff for the last 15 years died Tuesday at his home 113 N Clinton , after an illness of 3 months.
Shortly after graduation from Baylor University Medical College, Dr Ard went to France with the AEF where he was a 1st Lieutenant in the Medical Corps. He was a member of the American Medical Association.
Survivors include his wife, daughter Mary Louise Ard, son: Ben Ard Jr, sister: Mrs M Randolph. Services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday at the Chapel of Lamar and Smith. Burial will be at Pickton, Hopkins Co, his birthplace at 2 PM.
